So much has sidetracked my mind this week…but finally I am releasing the 2nd week of Out ‘n’ Proud Jewelry. Below is a preview of what they look like…and prices remain reasonable on all pieces.

To add to the pride colors…I have made this CUTE ring and bracelet. The big flower has the pride colors on each petal going around…along with a smaller flower with diamonds on the petals.
I am also finally releasing to the public the Sex Symbols Necklace that was a previous group gift…added to that I have done a double symbol necklace for all the Out ‘n’ Proud folks.

What else is going on, with changes and so forth?
I have decided to close down the Jewelry & Jewellery sim satellite locations. It is becoming too much for me to update those locations along with the Resurgence Main Store & Reasonable Desires Annex. The rentals end this weekend and then those two locations will be gone.
Being that I would be paying less for rentals…and that I am a land whore I have taken up 2 more plots on my Main Store sim…with a newbie store to follow with many 0L$ items. If you are a store owner and wish to contribute please send me an IM or notecard with your ideas of how you would like to contribute.
Lastly on the topic…I have started to sponsor Sunday Night Drag Races @ Amber Raceway. So if you are a drag racing fan, or you love to race yourself get on down there and check out their tracks.

3 Amazing individuals have passed on this week…Ed McMahon {March 6, 1923 – June 23, 2009} Farrah Fawcett {February 2, 1947 – June 25, 2009} & Michael Jackson {August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009} Each has touched me in their own way, and I pray for their families through their mourning. I wish each of them a peaceful rest as they fly like angels above us.

Alot has been going on for the past few months…as you have seen within the store and around the sim. So many projects have gotten in my way causing delays on various things. I have delayed the 2nd week of pride month releases so I can get some more pieces done. Below is a preview of what I have started and will have out shortly. I am anticipating an evening release on Wednesday June 24th.

The final week of pride releases will be including a wedding ensemble with pride colors within the gems. The final week will also include a mini hunt…with various pride flags flapping around the store with goodies inside. The flags will be set for sale at $L 0, yes that means they are free for all.

What else is going on that delays releases? Well firstly I am trying to get the Tranquil Living store set up with Lynn so we can have a grand opening finally. Tranquil Living Blog is separate from the DM Designs Blog…seeing as we re branded I am keeping Tranquil Living releases to the Tranquil Living blog. We will put up some preview pics very soon. I also am taking over 2 more parcels on the sim…which will bring me more prims and more play room. I am not sure what we will be placing on there as of yet. I have also decided to close down the Jewelry & Jewellery sim stores…they are just too much for me to keep up seeing as they are not scripted for gift cards…and all releases have to be set up twice. There is too much going on for me to have so many stores spread through-out SL. I will still have the DM Designs Annex @ Reasonable Desires & My Main Location on Resurgence

Lastly…there is something else taking up some of my time…I have a new hobby in SL. DRAG RACING…omg Darion is drag racing now?!?!?!? Yes, I was going to races to support my partner and decided why not do it myself. So my partner went on to modify my new drag bike and give me a cool new ride featuring my jewelry brand of course. Along with that came practicing between designing…and a few races. So far I came home with a 3rd place trophy…GO ME…I am aiming for 1st one of these days. Recently I decided to become a sponsor, so I am now one of the sponsors for Sunday Night Drag Races @ Amber Raceway. I support Amber Raceway, and Amber Raceway only. At Amber Raceway they are like a family…they are a great bunch of people who I enjoy being around. They put up with my dirty mouth, my half naked attire…and various other Darion Traits…we all know and love, I hope at least.

Actually there’s one more thing I’d like to touch base on. This is for any and all who love and enjoy DM Designs and those who blog about me. It has recently been brought to my attention that credits have been given incorrectly in blog posts. I ask any and all bloggers to understand the following:
Certain stores will at times use the same or similar naming of their items. **DM** has and always will be the same. All of my jewelry names begin the same way, with **DM** (which stands for DarionMonkee, obviously.) The brand has been out there since September of 2006. A similar brand in-world is Dark Mouse. Mouse Mimistrobell also uses DM for Dark Mouse on all of her items. When you credit items incorrectly, all you are doing is frustrating your own readers; they end up in the wrong store looking for an item that’s not there, which annoys them. To make things easier on everyone, I include a notecard in all item boxes whether they be a purchase, a gift, or a review item.
